Last Easter, I blogged about dressing up for Sunday service and included some pictures of my outfit, so this year I thought I would do the same!
A week ago, my sister, McKenna, was shopping at Target with my mom and had picked out a spring dress for me to see if I'd like to wear it. As a girl who certainly knows more about fashion than I do, my sister definitely seems to understand my taste in style since I fell in love with the dress at first glance!
It's a floral print maxi dress from Mossimo with lace inset, and is 100% polyester. I love the orange flower designs, the old-fashioned ruffle-hems, the drawstring band that securely wraps about the waist, and the long prairie-style skirt that allows springtime breezes to drift through. As a dress with modern feminine touches, it will definitely be a staple in my spring wardrobe.
The sandals that I'm wearing were purchased at Kohl's during last spring. I remember trying them on for the first time and appreciating how comfortable they felt while still being stylish. Usually gladiator sandals hurt my feet, but this particular pair in size seven-and-a-half has the perfect amount of space and fit. I always go for comfort over style, so these shoes are a win-win in my case!
I hope everyone had a lovely Easter. It truly is the best time of the year to celebrate Jesus and his miraculous ascension into heaven! Now that spring has finally started to feel like spring and the weather has been warming up (it was in the 80s today!), I look forward to dressing up and letting down my hair much more often!
